All of us at The Players Alliance are thrilled that the news of CC’s new role as Special Assistant to the Commissioner is out. Following the many gatherings, conferences, and conversations with players, The Players Alliance not only refocused our mission and programming, but our leadership looked for new avenues to address the feedback and shared vision for our organization’s future. We believe this move will prove as the best amplifier of our mission and provide the leverage required by the beloved community. As we look towards the 75th anniversary of Jackie Robinson breaking the color barrier, we can only see our brother and teammate’s announcement with overwhelming pride. We look forward to leveraging this opportunity of access to create the change needed today.
At the Players Alliance, we use our voice at the table to serve on behalf of those unaware of the table’s existence. CC’s new role allows our collective voice to be closer to the mic.
