At The Players Alliance (“The Players Alliance” or “we”), your privacy is important to us. We respect your right to having your personal information treated with the highest level of care.  This Privacy Policy, as part of our Terms and Conditions of Use, explains what information we gather about you, how we use it, and the safeguards we have in place to protect it.

Donation and Purchase-Related Information

The Players Alliance does not store your credit card information when you donate or purchase items on our website. No employee or contractor of The Players Alliance will ever ask for, enter or receive your credit card information for any reason. All transactions are managed electronically via our website, E-Store or on site designated devices.  We may ask (via electronic transactions) for personal information such as your name, mailing and billing address, zip code, phone number, billing information, credit card number, email address and any other information required to complete the transaction. In doing so, we may transmit payment information to third parties, such as banks, credit card companies, payment clearance services or other service providers to complete the transaction. We may also provide shipping information to third parties in order to permit them to deliver products to you. We process standard credit card information (card number, card type, expiration date) via an encrypted SSL (defined below) session.

We maintain records of all donations made to Players Alliance. The Players Alliance strives to keep such information private and confidential and we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure such information.

When you make a donation, you may be asked if you would like to receive further contact from us via our Site. If you indicate yes, you will be placed on our email distribution list and you may receive promotional correspondence from us or our partners from time to time in the future. If you later want to be removed from that list, you can remove yourself by following the directions in the correspondence you receive or following the “Opt-Out” procedures in this Privacy Policy.
