Amplifying Black Voices

A platform built to highlight black voices in the game. Amplified has been expanded to effectuate Player Advocacy and Awareness building on pertinent issues impacting black participation, navigation and access within baseball and softball.

During All-Star week in Los Angeles, The Players Alliance hosted an intimate fireside chat on the importance of diversity, equity and inclusion in baseball moderated by journalist and television personality Jemele Hill. The conversation included examples of excellence found around the league, barriers faced by players of color and the organization’s chosen method of addressing them.
